Mac Pro 2012 -should upgrade to Mojave?
Hi,
I am on a mac Pro 2012 2 x 2.4 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon I am using Mac Sierra with Pro Tools Ultimate and an HDX card and all is going good. I heard that PT 2019.5 with mojave .......would make PT even more solid and faster and lighter on CPU Should I move to Mojave ...maybe High Sierra ......and Install PT2019.5? any advise? First MacOS, upgrade PT or Unistall PT Ultimate First? Thanks |

Yep. Runs fine on Sierra.
OS upgrades, IMHO, are the LAST thing you want to do unless there’s a specific reason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My upgraded 5,1 is running better than it has since PT 9 on PT 2019.5 and 10.14.5.
