Default D-Control Settings

Hi,

I am looking for a way to export the D-Control console preferences. Saving plug in maps works fine but it is time consuming having to reconfigure D-Control after Pro Tools gets re-installed.

Thanks a lot!

AFAIK console prefs are inside your standard PT pref file. Save that somewhere safe and you're good to go.
Personally I prefer the security of spending 5 minutes on a clean install to set prefs up from scratch. Once you've done it a few times its pretty quick.

Brent,
Is there a way to save a few user settings and recall them for different Icon users?

Thanks Brent. I was also wondering about setting up different user profiles...

not possible. only option would be what Brent said / save the PT prefs but after a clean install that is not what I would want to put back either.
