Free Bomb Factory Plugins not working for Pro Tools LE

I appologize to those who may read this and think I'm a fool! But as a weekend music hobbyist running a digi002 with Pro Tools 7.3 on Windows XP - I went to the digi site and downloaded the "Free Bomb Factory Plugins". When I ran the .exe on my computer - it said it was finished - but I don't see any new plugins on my track insert list. I read something on the digi site about an iLok. Now I can go buy the iLok key - but at what point would I be able to load the authorization onto the iLok key?
I would appreciate anyone who can give a stooge like me "step by step" instructions. The instructions need to be so easy a caveman could understand. Thanks.

That's because those free Bomb Factory plugins are included with all new versions of Pro Tools. There's no reason to run that installer at all if you are running 7.3; you already have them.

You only need to get an ilok for plugins that you purchase.
