Default Buzz from griffin I mic

Just received via a friend a G4 tower, came with a griffin I mic. However when I try to put audio into my pro tools session I keep getting a buzzing sound. I have dissconected every thing from the tower apart from the I Mic and disconnected every thing from the I Mic and still there is the buzz. Can anybody help?

How much buzz are you talking about? Is it a liitle bit (say -50 db) on a track that otherwise sounds ok, or is loud buzzing all that you hear?
