ProTools 12.7 Cloud Collaboration Problems

Hello,

I am unable to use my avid cloud profile on this PT12.7 system. There are two problems:

1. When a cloud project is created, I am getting a SSL certificate error (see screenshot below). This system is connected to the internet and there is a standard firewall from my ISP but nothing in the firewall that I presume would block this connection. If anyone knows the port I should be checking let me know. I will run WireShark to see if I can find it. In any case, has anyone come across this error failed SSL exception error?



2. I can login to cloud with my master account but when I try to use the artist chat, it shows me as offline and I can’t change the status. I get this circle with a line across icon. See screenshot below.




I have used ProTools 2018 on a other Mac system and it worked. I need to confirm if this is in fact a local issue on this system (specs in my signature) or a network related problem.

Update:

The next day my profile was green and I was able to see the cloud project a client uploaded. I try to open it, ProTools says it is opening and nothing happens. I checked the Project Cache folder and I see what looks like the project’s pointer file.

No and frankly I’ve given up wasting my time on this version. I do believe it may be related to the age of my computer and PT12.7 so it’s time to take the bandaid out and do a major overhaul of hardware and software.
