Artist Mix Language??

I'm using the Artist Mix and want to see if I can get ControllerMate to use some of the buttons. I am new to Midi and the programmer is asking me something I don't know...

"If the Artist Mix buttons generate a common note or controller MIDI messages, then ControllerMate should see them on one of the ports. If they generate a SysEx message, then ControllerMate will ignore it."


Anyone know how the Artist mix buttons send messages?
