You know what would be great
If there was a list of what all the little 4 letter codes mean when a region has been audiosuited. This is maybe out there already somewhere?
like m6ba is for focusrite d2, YINN is for something, etc... Anyone know where this might be obtained? eric http://www.ericmilano.com |

Re: You know what would be great
hm. I guess there isn't a list like this out there? Digi must have this list somewhere, maybe they could post it? If I wasn't clear enough, I'm talking about the way that PT will rename a region with a specific 4 letter code depending on which audiosuite plugin you use on it. This would be especially helpful when you receive a session from another studio, and want to know what has been done to the region file you're looking at.

Let's built it. As soon as I start to work again (I'm sick, so I don't work right now), I will post my finding.

Re: You know what would be great
Right, so my original focusrite d2 post above was incorrect... sorry . i edited it to avoid confusion
WAVES mono Ren EQ 2 - SR3N Ren EQ 4 - SR5N Ren EQ 6 - SR7N stereo ren eq2 - SR3T So it seems that mono plugs generally get an "N" at the end and stereo gets a "T" with waves plugs Q10 - FRBN Q8 - FR9N Q6 - FR7N etc.. T stereo and N for mono Audio track stereo - TUBT Audio Track mono - TUBN Joe Meek VC5 - MEEQ there's some more... eric http://www.ericmilano.com |
