Default Loading Plugins at Startup is Slowww

As of a few days ago the PT startup screen that loads plugins takes a couple minutes. Nefore the status bar would fly to the finish line in seconds. I havent installed any updates, plugins or anything else that would affect PT. And yes, I've tried reboots of everything.

Has anyone ever run into this and found a fix?

Thanks.

Any other drives or USB devices connected?

Chris

Is it stalling at the screen that shows plugins loading, getting info on plugins or another screen? I often see things taking their sweet time when regenerating playlists.

What Jack said and or a bad/old/demo pugin that causes the delay by ot communicating properly. Look over your plugin folder when you have time and also delete the plugin list (.plist) in preferences folder and let PT re-read in all your uptpdate pugins and that will be slow but should improve after it has repopulated all your plugins.
