Problems installing Pro Tools SE v8.0.3
I am having trouble installing Pro Tools SE v8.0.3. When I tried to run the install it worked ok up to a point where the registration widow opened. At that point I got a windows blue screen and my system shut down. Now when I try to run the application the same thing happens, I get a blue screen and my system shuts down. I tried to uninstall it. The uninstall works fine until it gets to the registration window and the same thing happens, blue screen and my system closes down.
I have a Dell Latitude E6400 with 4GB Ram running Windows XP Professional version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I am stuck, I can't complete the installation or uninstall it.
