Audiosuite error "no audio was selected"

when in fact, a region is selected. in all my years, i have never seen this one. Just when I need to dehum something with my wonderful waves restoration X. It is the same on all tracks, with all of the 5 or 6 as plugs that I tried. When I hit "preview" it tells me this.

Anyone seen this?

If you look in the top right corner of the AudioSuite plug-in, do you have "Playlist" or "Region List" selected?

Are you selecting a region in the Region Bin or in the Edit Window?

thanks for the quick response steve. Playlist is selected, as always. and i am selecting a region in the edit window, on a track. Very strange. Going to try a restart, again.

still no luck. trashed all prefs, restarted...what else to do? Reinstall? ugh. need to work.
This is starting to feel like a problem. Please help.

Try the following settings in your AudioSuite Plug-Ins:

Create Continuous File
Entire Selection
Playlist
and make sure that "Use in Playlist" is highlighted (white and blue).

If that doesn't do it, reinstall Pro Tools.
