Original Mbox not installing on windows

Hi, i have a musicXpc and have used it for many years with a 002 Rack. Today i've decided to use my Original Mbox with the same computer and when i connect it, the new hardware found wizard pops up and wants to install it. It tries but it can not install it and now pro tools won't open. I'm using 8.0.1

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
