Default Best book for learning Digi001/PTLE?

I've had my Digi001 for a while but am just now starting to really want to take advantage of the capabilities and start creating stuff. I know how to record tracks etc but I need to learn how to make it sound right (the mix, mastering etc).

There's quite a few books I've found about PT - any opionins on any of these??

A Musician's Guide to ProTools by John Keane

Pro Tools 5 for Mac and Windows - Visual Quick Start by Steven Roback

Pro Tools for Music Production: Recording Editing and Mixing by Mike E. Colins

Producing in the Home Studio with Pro Tools (w/CDROM) by David Franz

Pro Tools Power! by Colin MacQueen and Steve Albanese

The Complete Pro Tools Handbook by Jose Valenzuela

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Ryan

I am sure those are all good books but IMHO, the ProTools Certification Manuals are the best. There is a lesson at the end of each section. Maybe you can find someone willing to let go of theirs.

I say the Instruction is the Best! if you want to learn how to USE protools. It is a little intimidating at first, but each skill you pick up can be transferred over into the next lesson.

I understand though that some 001's didnt come with the HUGE instruction book. If thats the case, sorry to hear.

David Franzs' book is excellent - very easy to read and covering just about everything.
