Default Drumagog, Drum Rehab or SoundReplacer??

Drumagog and Sound Replacer are available now, Drum Rehab, who knows. I want to get something soon. Should I wait for Drum Rehab or will Drumagog or SoundReplacer work well?

I have both but Drumagog is much better because you can run it real-time on each drum track.
I also use drumagog in Acid 5, Sound Forge 8.0 and Vegas 6.0

I needed a tool and so I bought Drumagog, otherwise I would have given Drum Rehab a try because I really like TL-Space.

I'm mixing 9 songs next week so I'm going to put Drumagog through its paces.

AFIK Drum Rehab is not available yet. I bought Drumagog and like it it's faster and more accurate than Sound Replacer but there is some latency. More more accurate the triggering and the higher quality sample you need the higher the latency. What's really cool is the auotmatic sample ate convert.
If I read it the right way from the TL web site with drum rehab it look like it's only good for drums edited to a grid. It sort of looks like a form of beat deatective with sampling. I still kinda find it hard to see how there won't be any latency.

Hi,

I'll second drumagog! i was using sound replacer, but often found it would result in flamming and phasing on certain hits and i would have to go through the track and do some editing! but with drumagog it is much more accurate, especially if you use the advenced feature for better quality!! but you'll probably have to shift the track back to alighn the waveform!!

drumagog do a demo period!! give it a go, it also has a fairly good library for registered users.

For me, drumagog is great for snare.

But on my kicks (i use it on a death-trash-metal project), it sucks

it isn't accurate. Some hits are missed, others are to late etc..... I 've tried to fix that with the filter option, but it didn't help.

Am i the only to have pb with drumagog on fast kicks?

Is TL Drum Rehab available ?

I've been using Drumagog for a week or so now and I really like it.

I haven't had any issues with my kick. I always use the Advanced setting so it causes a 50ms delay, then I just shift the start of track by 50ms.

I usually print the drum track to a new track then remove the plug-in. This is good to do if you ever need to give the session to another engineer, they may not have Drumagog.

I downloaded all the Drumagog samples (gog files) and I like them.

So far a pretty positive experience.

I've only experimented with the demo so far, but I found that if I heavily compressed and gated the kick track (don't worry about the sound--you are replacing it anwyway) before inserting Drumagog, it seemed to work better. Have you tried something like that? I'm very close to a purchase myself after trying the demo. mostly wondering about the quality (and quantity) of the samples (gog files) included.
