Pro Tools won't recognize interface.

So my Mac has gone from being an awesomely solid computer to a computer that I seem to have nothing but problems with. I was having an issue yesterday with it just turing off... every single time I tried to turn it on. Today it's spinning like a top. However, PT won't recognize my UA Apollo interface... only Pro Tools Aggregate. I uninstalled/reinstalled my UAD software, but that didn't seem to do the trick. I went to MIDI set up, and no luck there either. I can select the Apollo, but it still doesn't recognize it in PT.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Are you saying that holding down the N key when launching Pro Tools is not letting you select your Apollo?

I was not saying that, as I had never even heard of that trick. But that totally did it! Thank you so much!!! :)
