Default PT Le 7.3.1 keeps crashing

Haven't had this problem before I upgraded. Currently Pro Tools le 7.3.1cs with MBox2, DV Toolkit2 and Digitranslator2.0. Run on Mac OSX 10.4.8 G5. 2.5 Gig ram. Frequently the program will close, when I try and open my Workspace Browser, and then once open, click on a folder or drive to open, I get that spinning color wheel, and then the program shuts down.

My session is not in play when this happens, and sessions currently do not use any plug-ins. Only one to three tracks, and media drive is internal, separate from System drive. Setup menu preferences for processing are set to 2 processors, 85 percent CPU, sampling 512 (and I've tried 1024) and DAE is set to Level 2 (default). These are settings I used prior to upgrade to 7.3 and never had this issue.

Tried Updating database in Workspace, but this doesn't seem to help.

Any known bugs? Any reason why my system keeps crashing. (No other programs being used during Pro Tools, and Norton AntiVirus is shut off. Expose and screen saver are shut off, and automatic update is shut off, so I can't determine what the problem is.

Crash seems to have something to do with opening DigiBrowser or navigating between Browsers, opening multiple Browsers.

I have not had issues before with my MAC and I've recorded long sessions (ie. 60 minutes), and played back via Audiosuite plug-ins and never had crash issues. (Previous to 7.3, I had to keep my track and region names to under 25 characters, but I've kept that limit, and should not be problem).

Would be grateful for assistance.
Thanks -Joe

Default Re: PT Le 7.3.1 keeps crashing

I have no idea but I will say this. I started having crashes during a session, it would just do the spinning wheel, crash and I would get the error message that "The application Pro Tools has unexpectedly shut down..."
It seemd to be happening when I had Safari open so I tried making sure I closed it before opening a sess....same. Then I noticed that I had left my iSight plugged in and had forgotten about it. Unplugged it and my problem went away.
