S/PDIF Input Gain
Is there a way to adjust the gain on the optical input? I have an Alesis AI3 and it seems that even with the AI3 set on -10, my signals are always weak. Could a cheap patchbay be responsible? Am I a moron? Thanks.

Re: S/PDIF Input Gain
1. Create a stereo Aux input.
2. Assign it to optical S/PDIF (I think that's same as ADAT 1/2) for it's input interface. 3. Make the Aux output to a bus pair of your liking. 4. Assign a stereo track's input that same bus pair... 5. Assign the stereo track's output to your typical output assignment (such as analog 1 & 2). Now, the fader for the Aux controls the volume for the Optical S/PDIF. |
