Default When changing tempo - the grid do "jump" some bars

Hi.

I have a little problem - when I change the tempo ie. from 120 to 112. The grid jumps some bars. Why is that? I want the grid to be constant. I have tried everything. The tempo is ok though the session.

Thank You!

Can you post a screenshot so we can see what exactly you call a jump? The grid should change if you have the Bars/Beats rule selected and there's a tempo change.

You will see a jump if you are in playback, and you change the tempo manually by entering a new value in the BPM window. There are many variables here, such as whether the track is set to ticks or samples. Also, since you haven't offered too much information, I want to suggest that you read up about the conductor track and how it works as opposed to having a single tempo all the way through. If conductor track is enabled, and you have tempo changes programmed, you shouldn't see any jumps.

Hi.

Thank You for Your replies. There is no tempo change during the song. I took a screenshot to demonstrate what I mean. So new session - tempo from 120 to 112.

The grid do not "change", but the bar changes. The first 4 bars are ok (1-13, then it jumps to 25). Please check the screenshot. I can this be fixed so that bar continues "normally".

is there something with this forum's restriction on photo sizes because I don't understand why the majority of photos posted require the use of the Hubble telescope to see any details lol
