Default PT 7.1cs8 : zoom to sample strange behaviour...???

Hi,

I've been working today on a new session and realized I was not able to fully zoom to the sample level using either the keyboards shortcuts, or the PC zoom arrows or the magnifier.
Zoom stops around 200 samples or so...???
I thought it could be a corrupted session so I created a new one and imported the audio track : same behaviour...
I opened a session I did yesterday and....no problem
What do you think ?
Best,
A

1) Click with the Selector tool right after the last region on the track you're working on.

2) Option-Shift-Return to select the entire remaining lenght of the session.

3) Delete.

Does it work?

Oops...delete any automation breakpoints that might have been created long after the song is finished in the timeline. You can also do this on all tracks, of course. Just make sure Automation Follows Edit is enabled.

From the answerbase:

Quote:
If there are any automation points in a visible track past the maximum Pro Tools session length (about 12.5 hrs @ 44.1k, and 12 hrs @ 48k) Pro Tools will not zoom past quarter frame accuracy. This also occurs if the cursor has been dropped past the session length limit.

Hiding the offending track(s) or deleting all automation points past these session length limits will eliminate the problem.
