oops pressed return lol here's to continue the post -- I can't really figure out why it's sometimes clicking or popping when inserted on a track. Thoughts? Delay compensation isn't red...looks fine there.

Never got on with DMM2. CPU hog, doesn't offer a 3 second short-term option, no EBU modes, generally feels sluggish. Nugen's VisLM is much better and shows how well this type of meter can be implemented.

It's a PIG and RTAS only, those are your clicks and pops, especially if you're on a TDM system.

I find I have to go into Settings and re-select my 5.1 track layout for it to pass audio cleanly. It's better not to monitor or layback (!) through the plug. Put it on an Aux track that is assigned to a dummy output bus.

Pretty much what I do. Never had any problems with it in PT 8.04cs2 on an HD6.

Didn't have those issues on a Mac mini either. I know a bunch of people who use it who have never complained.

What else is going on on your system?

to avoid the clicks & pops I just run it on an Aux subbed out of the mix.

Thumbs up Re: LKFS thoughts...Dolby Media Meter 2

Good suggestion on the dummy aux track. I'll try that. Seems like there's some RTAS programming work that needs to be done with this plugin still. Hope they come out with an updated version that doesn't cause the pops and clicks.
