Anyone using Firewire RAID for PT?

I'm interested in setting up a firewire RAID level 1 (mirroring) configuration for my PT rig. I want to know there's a backup copy of ongoing work present at all times.

Anyone doing this successfully with firewire? I know Charismac has firewire RAID software for Mac. Is this compatable with Pro Tools?
