I think the license naming can cause some confusion since we used to have the main version # in the name, e.g. Pro Tools 12 (which authorizes 12.0-12.5.2).

With the 12.6 release we changed the license name to Pro Tools Perpetual which although it can only authorize 12.6/higher it is really version agnostic since the Release Limit date controls which versions (after 12.6) can be authorized based on the date they were released. (This license change was made to prevent the need to surrender licenses when upgrading.)

Yes! I was about to post the same thing, the last couple of Jeffro posts are some of the clearest info I've seen on the 12.6 transition and 10/11/12 support.

But another request to add to that... having just renewed my perpetual/annual upgrade plan I'll also admit to being lost as to what I'm supposed to see on the iLok with a perpetual license or just how the perpetual iLok licensing actually works... esp. where is the expiry date in the iLok? A note on that would be great.
