Default Custom PC Build - Pro Tools issues

I just finished building a PC for my studio:

i7 3770k CPU
16gb DDR3 Ram
2tb HDD 7200rpm
128gb SSD
GTX560 GPU
Windows 7 Home Premium
All drivers/software up to date

So far I have installed/uninstalled Pro Tools 3 times and I'm still having a major problem; the playback keeps skipping. A song will play normally for 20-30 sec at a time, then randomly skip a second or 2. I've tried changing every setting I can possibly think of/find online and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Theres no possible way it's a lack of power, as these tracks were recorded on a dual core, 4 year old Best Buy special and played fine. The only possible explanation I have is that maybe my file transfer has corrupted something. I transferred all of my session data using a Toshiba external drive. I have already done this transfer 3 times as well. I just can't seem to figure out what the issue is. Any ideas?
Any help would be suuuper greatly appreciated as this down time is losing me money. Thanks in advance!

1) What drive are you recording your PTools sessions to? Internal or external? Type of drive? Type of drive connection? Some work well, some do not.
2) Try creating a blank session, then Import Session Data from the questionable session(s). Sometimes this will fix corrupted sessions.
3) Post a Sandra, as explained here:

Anyone have any ideas?

I disabled my wifi connections and that seemed to help a bit, but I'm still getting skipping. I have 2 sessions coming up this week and really need to get this problem sorted out. Thanks guys.

What are the details of the session?
Sample rate?(96K will use a lot more horsepower than 48K)
Bit depth?(I recommend 24 bit, always)
buffer setting?(try it at 1024)
what interface?
I hope you get it sorted. My foray into socket 1155 territory was a disaster

I have almost the exact same system, no issues.

Run this app and see what you get.
http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml

Do you have DEP on or off? Check it

the Intel 4000 graphics, it works very well with PT.

FireWire/1394 Controller 1 : NEC uPD72874 IEEE1394 OHCI 1.1 3-port PHY-Link Ctrlr. This might be the issue, see what driver you have for it. Try the MS legacy issue.

Also, download Reaper and see if it works.

My sessions are at 48k/24bit with a buffer size of 512. My interfaces are 2 Steinberg Mr816csx's connected via firewire.

Do I want to turn off the DEP?

I have run the latency checker. It hovers around 200 but occasionally spikes or 4000 or worse. The only thing I've tried to disable so far is the network adapter. Maybe I'll have to through and disable everything one at a time to see what is really causing the problem.

I've also already switched to the legacy drivers for my firewire card.

Thanks for all the help guys!

You should try disabling DEP for Pro Tools.

Any spikes over 1000 is going to cause issues. Try disabling one thing at a time until the spikes dissipear.

Be sure the Bluetooth is disabled along w the wireless.
Try disabling your on board audio in the bios
Try disabling your network adapter in the bios
Have you shut off most everything in your startup menu?? Run>msconfig>startup
