external or internal clock?
So - I own a digi 002R and run it with a 2.16 imac core 2. I recently bought a presonus digimax LT for 8 extra ins (and love it by the way). I have read that I can run the whole set up with the clock on the presonus. In your opinion -
1) which would be better (internal or external clock)? 2) How do I go about setting it all up? Thanks in advance! Tuf |

Re: external or internal clock?
Since the Digimax LT only has 1 ADAT optical output, you'll have to set Pro Tools to clock externally to that input.
Connect the output of the Digimax to the input on your 002 then, in Pro Tools, go to Setups>Hardware and make sure that the digital input source is set to 'Optical = ADAT, RCA=SPDIF' and change the clock source to 'ADAT' or 'Optical'. |
