weird midi prob with 002

i recently upgraded my whole set up. i now have a g5 imac with a digi 002 setup.

i have my digi 002 midi'd to an ensoniq asr-10 (a dinosaur some would say but i love it). so here's my prob:

everything is set up, tempos the same, etc. ready to go. when i press record it DOES trigger the asr and everything seemingly goes as planned, BUT upon closer inspection while it is recording from the very beginning of the first bar, it isnt starting the music until about .05 seconds late. none of the actual music gets cut off, it just starts late, it triggers but does not synch. hopefully i am explaining this well. i assume its just some prefs thing i gotta switch. any suggestions?

never had this happen on my old g4 and 001 setup, but it has happened on my first 3 new sessions in a row, on the new setup.

What version of Pro Tools are you running? Which OS version?
