signal generator automation and distortion
I have tried to automate a slow sweep sine wave from the signal generator plug-in (to help calibrate monitors/PA systems), but the plug-in produces varying degrees of distortion ( which it doesn't do when you adjust the Hz within the plug-in window)
I'm assuming that it has a problem with non-integer values it is receiving from the automation. As the distortion continues after I have stopped the transport, I think I have ruled out the possibility that it is the transition from one value to the next during the sweep that is causing the problem. So- Has anyone else experienced this? Has anyone worked out a way around the problem? |
