S3 connecting to Eucontrol but not PT

Ever since the PT 12.8.1 update, my S3 isn't coming online with PT.
It shows up in Eucontrol but that's it.
If I restart EUCON, it comes online.
Is anyone else getting this behavior?

Hey Eddie.
Yes, it is.
If I restart Eucon, it connects. After I do that once, I can start and re-start protools or open and close sessions and it stays connected. It only happens after a computer restart or from a fresh computer start.

Sound studio with 3 rooms, 3 Avid S3 and looooots of problems....

Bought in January 2015, during 2016 dead faders in all the consoles.... send to Ireland to solve the problem (costing money and time)

Last year, the last one we send to Avid dint work also, sent it with fader 3 dead and return with fader 1 dead.... Avid change the unit with a new one after several fights with dealers.

This month this replaced unit begin freezing... a few time from start working, it hangs up.... loosing connection with pro tools. Force exit to eucon app, and restart the unit and Mac to deal with it.

I tough, it may be a conflict with the machine.... lest format the machine and make a fresh install of everything! after one day of peace making backups in the studio (not too much pro tools work) today I start a new project and the s3 freezes again.....

Totally disappointed with this machines....

This is not the same issue as above (not connecting). Please start a new thread and I can try to help solve this issue.

Hey Eddie.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Eucon and things seem to be connecting now.
I'll update after I've spent some time with it but so far, all looks good.
