Default Can't even open PT9

I bought PT 9 second hand a ways back on Craigslist. Installed it, ran it, no problem with the exception of a TBIA error when I start up my computer. Upon researching this problem, the most common solution was reinstalling the software. After doing so, I am still receiving the TBIA error when starting up my computer, and now PT won't even open because it won't recognize my iLOK, which is lit up blue and fully functional. I've tried it in all my USB ports, same with my Fast Track. I've never used Pro Tools before, and have no clue what the hell is going on.

I also thought I'd point out that one proposition I found gave me a link to M-Audio's website to reinstall the Fast Track driver, hopefully resolving the TBIA error issue. The only option is M-Audio Black Box under 'USB Audio Series' which I do not have.

Link - http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=support&tab=driver

Hope someone can help me through this struggle. Thank you in advance.

give that a read and post a Sandra report. Sorry for my ignorance, but I have no idea what a TBIA error is. I take it the iLok came with the software? Is it registered to you? Have you installed the latest iLok drivers and Quicktime?

Thanks for the redirection. I'll investigate the issue further before resorting back to the forums should I have no luck.
