What's everyone's favorite EQ and compressor for dialog? Just curious...

EQ I am least fussy about (won't cry if I have to use the digi one) - but LOVE my DNS One and Sonnox Dyn.
Sonnox warmth on most dials is magic with some gentle soft knee compression. Will throw toys out of pram if not available.

Checkout Henchman's post about UAD plugs and loosing waves - some interesting ideas there.... I like the VOG thing idea...

Almost the same chain I use Mike - well done. I use the warmth function all the time.

Equality, DNS one, compressor varies depending on what is needed if anything.

Main processing Chains, CEDAR DNS, UAD Precision De-Esser, UAD LA-3A.

EQ3 1Band, MDW, Massey CT4 (or Massey L2007), Massey De-esser, sometimes Sonnox TransMod...
on dialog bus: Phoenix and Massey L2007 or Sonnox Dynamics
varying dependant on project and quality of dialog
and of course Dolby 430 as insert

Since PT 10 , I keep things simple: System 5 channel strips (dsp) on all tracks and aux. But Equality is great too.
