Noise on 192 Inputs
All three of my 192 interfaces have noise on the inputs of several channels, even with nothing hooked to them.
I've reflashed them, trashed all the usual stuff. I can turn them off and back on with ProTools launched and the noise goes away, but ProTools won't pass audio out. When ProTools is relaunched the noise immediately comes back. Any ideas. ProTools 7.1, HD Accel3, G5 dual 2ghz, 3GB RAM, 3-192, 1-192 digital, 24 fader ProControl/EditPak

Re: Noise on 192 Inputs
You've got bad A/D converters. Call support. You'll have to pay to get them serviced, approx $270 per card flat rate.

Re: Noise on 192 Inputs
Thanks dmazurek.....I just read the thread about obtaining an RMA. I haven't visited the DUC for about 6 years. Pretty amazing thread concerning repairs. I am going to contact Ground Control. Looks like the easiest way to go.
