Default Low Latency not working with Aggregate I/O

I need to use Aggregate I/O in order to avoid the playback error 6104 (Avid tell me it is a workaround to fix this) so I am using it. Thing is, when I switch on Low Latency mode, I get no record monitoring. It records fine, but I can't hear it until I play it back after. Any idea why this might be and how I can fix it? I am using an Mbox 3 with PT 11. I am on an iMac with Mavericks. Also, when I change the Playback Engine to Mbox, Low Latency works just fine.
