Running PT 9.03, Safari opening automatically during session???

System I'm using is as follows:

Pro Tools 9.03
iMac i7 27" mid-2011
1TB Internal HD/Lacie Little2BigDisk SSD 240GB via ThunderBolt/Lacie Quattro 2TB External HD via FireWire
DIGI 003 Interface via FireWire

Hey guys,
Hoping someone here has seen this before, weird thing: Ok, during any random session all of a sudden a static hiss from hell comes out through an aux track(random) and out through the main outs 1-2. A Safari window opens by itself, saying YOU ARE NOT CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET (which this iMac is never connected to...). When I close the Safari window, I can continue with the session except the one random track the Safari's static signal originated on. That track plays like the rest however the signal meter will not reset/move like normal. It remains permanently stuck, maxed-out actually. I don't know if I should move Safari to a different drive temporarily until I have to use it again
(which is rare), I just don't know. I've trashed PT pref's but that doesn't help any. When I close out the session and re-open it, this problem occurrs again and again. I end up having to go back and open an earlier session back-up file, essentially having to start over. Anybody here got any ideas what could be triggering/causing this to happen??? Any help, would really appreciate it.
