Default Crosshatch cursor too small

Hi , I have Pro Tools 12.8 and am struggling to see the Cursor in Midi Edit Page.
It appears as a "crosshatch" [small black dot in a cross] which is almost totally impossible to see as it's so small, and just doesn't jump out at you like the Arrow, Hand or other tool options. I tried to change the screen resolution but it hasn't made much difference.

I need to make the cursor itself bigger, clearer or even change it

Any clues?

Try Simple Mouse Locater from the App store. Hoping that you're a Mac guy. Probably available for Windows as well. I think it's 99 cents.
