native instruments
Hi I am considering buying the Native Instruments Scarbee Vintage Keys collection to use but I haven’t been able to find out if these work inside of Pro Tools or not. If someone could help me out please, i’m not sure if the programs are able to be used as plug ins in pro tools or not, if you could help it’d be great thanks.

Re: native instruments
You should consider buying the Komplete 7 bundle instead. It includes Vintage Keys, plus tons more stuff.

Re: native instruments
This Soundpack uses Kontakt Player 4 which is very stable in Pro Tools. The hardest part of owning native instruments is probably the authorization process, NI uses their own application called 'Service Center' which takes care of authorizations and upgrades. Before you launch the Soundpack for the first time you want to run the Service Center, register your software, and perform any updates that show up.
I own a number of the Soundpacks and they are excellent, offer powerful control over the sounds, and are easy to use. Komplete 7 does contain this Soundpack, and it's a very good bargain if you are looking for a lot of different sounds, effects and synthesizers. http://imsproav.com/main/NATIVE20861.html

Thanks for the replies. Yea I want to get the entire komplete 7 but I can through the 500 at it right now you think it'd be worth waiting some months and getting the whole pack or just buying a few individually?

Re: native instruments
save up for Komplete 7. saying that it's worth it is an understatement. I use something from Komplete 7 in just about everything I do.

Re: native instruments
It's definitely worth waiting for. Part of the issue is that the Vintage Keys pack by itself is only available on the website, wheras Komplete 7 is available through dealers. Dealers often have sales. Get on Guitar Center's email list and they often send coupons for 15% off one item (usually over $299). That would make Komplete 7 $425, making the difference between that and the Vintage Keys by itself only $256.
