Default Re: RIP Neil Peart

Back in my teens my buddy who was actually two years older than me was a big time RUSH & DREGS guitar slinger. He was actually a room mate with Russell "Skip" Gildersleeve, and Skip would give him 11 tickets, stage left riser, row 10, and eye level with Geddy Lee, and all us musician buddies got to see Rush free every time they rolled into Phoenix.

Moving forward I got to meet my favorite ROCK bass player Geddy here in Tempe AZ for a book signing, and I told Geddy how I got to see RUSH for years free by the way of Skip, and he smiled and said good O'l Skip, good O'l Skip. He's passed away years ago also.

Yeah I heard the same thing about Neil having problems with shoulders, or arthritis. Man if we all think how great people kept it under wraps all this time is noble for sure. Neil is truly a gift to all humanity.
