Default Mackie "Baby" HUI Control Surface

Anybody seen one yet? I've just read about it (available September). Check out www.mackie.com for the details.

Apparently retailing around £650 in UK. Is this our version of the Logic Control?????

Very tempted if it's good. Any HUI users out there? Does the original work well? The Baby HUI is just a cut-down version.

Interesting..........

One of the studios I'm a regular at has the main and expander units on demo right now. They're using it with Soundscape® digital. Seems okay, but has typical Mackie build.

It comes with cardboard lay-over masks for DP and Logic. So far we've found a couple little bugs with Soundscape. I'd definetly give it 6 months or so to work the kinks out before jumping in.

FWIW
