Default Quick survey?

Hi all,

reading the DUC lately has brought me to the idea to get to know how large the proportion of satisfied users is, depending on their equipment. As I am a curious mind I was thinking if it wouldn't be the easiest if to find this out via a small standardized survey that just contains the very crucial factors like:

Digi Hardware: [...]
Digi Software: [...]
System hardware: PPC/Intel [MHz]
System software: OS
RAM: [...]
System Stability: (1) runs smoothly without any issues/ full-fledged; (2) runs quite smoothly with some minor issues/ bugs; (3) runs so far but not very stable; (4) runs with a lot of problems, no effective workflow possible; (5) still doesn't work at all
Troubleshooting: (1) did each step as recommended by digidesign, (2) did most of the troubleshooting until it worked; (3) did some selected techniques; (4) did not do anything of the troubleshooting/ what is trouble shooting?
Compatibility: (1) all components are approved by digidesign (e.g. ext. FW HDD with 912 chipset etc.); (2) some components are not approved (e.g. minimum RAM etc.); (3) configured system after own conception without following the compatibility grid
Days until system worked as it does now: [no. of days]

If you think that there is missing some very important issues feel free to ad, but try to keep it quantitative/ standardized so it stay eays to read for everyone.

Just in case you might wonder: No I am not using this information for commercial purposes and I am also not an 'informal' employee of digidesign. But yes I got a degree in social sciences.
Maybe this is also interesting for the digitechsupport, if they haven't done this already.

OK so I go ahead first:
Digi hardware: 003 factory
Digi software: 7.3.1cs3
System hardware: MBP C2D 2,16
System software: 10.4.8
RAM: 2GB
System stability: 2
Troubleshooting: 1
Compatibility: 1
Days until system worked: 6

If you wish I can make an interim analysis of the most important statistical indicators let's say every fifty posts or so just to get a better overview.
So who wants to come out next...

I believe the DUC Terms Of Use don't allow polls.

Sorry I am no native speaker but from my understanding this is a survey not a poll. I don't ask people to vote for anything. But excuse me if I am mistaken. I guess Digidesign will remove the thread if they think that it is not allowed to do so.
