Custom Groups, Can it be don on an 8 Fader D-Command?
I'm trying to follow the instructions for creating a Custom Group but the instructions differ from the behavior that the D command actually displays.
My manual is ver 7.0 did something change since then? when I push the Groups button the faders go into CF mode. How to I choose members of a Group? Or is this a feature reserved for the 24 fader version? |

Re: Custom Groups, Can it be don on an 8 Fader D-Command?
On a 8 channel D command You'd have to set the pref for the number of faders that the CF group will take up. If it is set to 8 then obviously it is going to 'eat' away all your faders.
Set it to 4 and start from there. You can set it to a fixed amount (blocks of 4 on a D command I believe) or a minimum 1 to maximum 'x' amount in which a CF group will take up the number only the number of members you assign to it up to a 'x' maximum, after which it will 'bank' inside the CF group. You can set the prefs for the CF's in the soft keys section. Chris
