Default recurring kernel panic when changing Grid mode

I have now gotten a kernel panic several times (at least 4 in the last few weeks) when changing the Grid mode from "Bars: Beats" to "Regions/Markers". Too many times to just be a coincidence.

OS X 10.3.5
