Activation code not working?
HI, I bought a PT reinstatement plan from a 3rd party seller and cannot get the code to work.
From the AVID activation page, when I enter the code, it says: "Please enter the Renewal Code listed here in the renewal field of your Product located in the Products page." When I go to my products page, I cannot find where I am supposed to enter that code - all I have on there is a PT10 version which obviously has no where, and the PT HD trial which I am currently using until it runs out in 10 days or so - This also has no where to enter the code. What am I missing here? I am trying to register a normal version of PT, not ultimate, could that be it? If so, why could I only trial the Ultimate software? Thanks all! |

From your account, can you submit a case via the support portal?

Thanks for the reply - I can, so I just submitted one. I can't help but think I am doing it wrong but at the same time I am no idiot, and I am following all of the steps but just cant get the code to register.

No, you're not doing it wrong. I just checked and the PT10 I still have in my account doesn't have a place to enter a code either. My only concern is that the reseller may have supplied you with a "renewal" not a "reinstatement".

hmmm I see - well it is definitely listed as a reinstatement on their site, and I spoke to someone working there who also said this was the correct product I needed.
And so I take it that there should be a place right under my current PT versions in my account to enter the code - I kept getting directed to this page: https://my.avid.com/products/redemption |

Does anyone have any info that could help? Still have not heard back from AVID.
I bought reinstatement plan in order to get the perpetual w/1year support in order to upgrade from PT10 - I was directed to this from 2 different sales enquiries - from AVID themselves, and an additional 3rd party seller - so once I did purchase it, I cannot for the life of me find out where I am supposed to enter this code:/ |
