Access Violation errors? Forever plagued

Any know what the deal is with these things they torment me continually. I trash pref etc, doesnt do anything, they pop up randomly and i have to import the session data to a new session to get some peace before they come back..
Anyone any tips?

The summary is that this has plagued Windows users in 12.8.2 and 12.8.3, but now seems to be fixed in 2018.1.

Yes i've seen that, i'm using 2018 but i'm still getting them... Smh.

Drop back to 12.4 or 12.5, does that fix them?

What version of Win10?

When you upgraded, did you do a full uninstall of every component before a re-install? I had video issues until I did that.

But if you've had this issue back to 12.4, then I think there must be something else up system-wise. The recent access violation bug that affected a lot of people only appeared in 12.8.2. Sorry that may not be much help!
