Default ATTN: Bruce Paine OT| Screenshots for UBB

Wouldn't this be useful in these forums?

Granted, it would have to be limited, but wouldn't it help to at least have 'em in the intro page(s) or something?

Just a thought....

Not sure I understand what you are asking. Could you give some examples?

I'm not quite sure either, but I think he's talking about screenshots of PTs (edit/mix windows), when something semi-involved is being discussed. Hope you understood me...

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Like, with the caps lock engaged, Command+Shift+4 will give you a little bullseye to click on the active window and clicking will screenshot that window, or Command+Shift+4 then drag select what you want... that type of stuff.

Sorry,
Hope that cleared it up some.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Well...
I’ve been thinking of asking for little pictures for each user on the DUC, so you could more easily identify people.

I thought that was what you ment, but now I dont know...

I think what Billbo wants is to have the possibility of using images in that forum. That way we could use the mac os' ability to take screenshots of windows, or selections, and post them here along with our questions or problems.

Ben is talking about the avatars that are used on other UBB sites, I like these too, Although I do need a better one than my Warwick headstock LOL......

I think that being able to show things with images would be brilliant.....

FWIW on the *GASP* PC you just hit print screen and then paste or if you want just the active window it's Alt + Print Screen
