Where's My Free Pro Tools 11 Upgrade?

I purchased the Pro Tools 10 student version with 4 years of free upgrades on 1-21-2013. I never got an email, or I did, and never saw it. Can someone help me with this? I feel I am entitled to it but I keep seeing upgrade to either pro tools 11 or 12 for $99 in my emails from avid and nothing about a free upgrade.

Your records indicate that the Pro Tools 11 No Charge Upgrade for Students email was sent to you on July 12, 2013. Check the Private Message I sent you with that information.

You should be entitled to a free Pro Tools 12 No Charge Upgrade for Students as well, but it may take another couple of weeks for that mechanism to show up in eligible Avid accounts.

I downloaeded pro-tools 11(30 days free trial),but I cannot run it because it s zip file(.zip). how do i execute it(it s 1.1 gig file)?
and ,also,how do i activate pro tools 11 in ïLok site.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

.zip file is a compressed package, you need to unzip it first. Then you will have your installer.

For activation, you will need to have a physical iLok2 license key where to store your PT11 trial license. The trial license itself is free, and the iLok account is free as well, but the key you need to buy.

Usually no, but if you bought it after PT11 was release, you should have already received the upgrade due to buying the software within the grace period.
