ProControl reactions with PT 6.1 are slower

Mastersonics usually the 'cs' upgrades are new software releases with little improvements and/or bug fixes. We will simply have to download it from Digi site (I hope asap)

There have been some underlining notes going around saying that if you upgrade your OS through System Update opposed to downloading the Combo Update, hundreds of components don't get installed! The OS still works but this
could be a reason why some experience it and some don't!
Admins, could you look into this?

Hi Guys,

Regarding a OSX -Softwareupdate via internet or a OSX-Combo update....
I always used combo-updates and I've had these problems from the start with PT 6.1 and ProControl.

This 6.1 procontrol situation is absolutely horrible. After being a hardcore Digi user for over 10 years, I can say this is most likely the worst bug digi has ever shipped in a released version of any of their products. What do I need to do to down grade back to 6.01 ?? Or better yet..when are they going to fix this. It is very embarassing running a studio like this.

Yeah, this is pretty bad. I notice that 6.1 is slower in general. When you click plugin, i/o, or playlist menus, it doesn't select your choice until you move the mouse. Zoomins are slower too. Very sluggish and annoying.
