Upgrade Plus Plug-in Auth
I just installed the Upgrade Plus Pro Tools 7.0 LE download that I paid $99 for from Digistore. I cannot figure out how to authorize the two plug-in's it came with. I chose..DINR LE and Smack! LE. No response codes came with them or serial numbers and when I try to use the register by internet connection option in the authorize dialogue box, I get the message that authorization by internet is not available. Does anyone know what to do in this case?
The only serial I got was for the PT LE 7.0 app. Also Sample Tank seems to be causing problems and stops PT from loading. I took SampletankSE and Sampletank 2 free out of the plugin folder and it loads ok now. Do they just need a re-auth or an update. Anyone have any ideas, Digi...anyone? I would really appreciate it. I sent 2 e mails to CS Admin, they replied really fast to the 2nd one about a different issue, don't know if the first made it through. Thanks, Lister Coleman. |

The plug-ins are authorized via iLok. During purchase you were asked for your iLok.com account ID, your licenses are waiting for you at iLok.com, just log in and download the licenses to your iLok.
Can't help you with the Sampletank thing, but most plug-ins do require updates to function properly with PT7. |

Hi Slim, thanks for the reply. I don't remember giving my iLok info and I went to iLok yesterday and Synced twice, but did not see anything for DINR or Smack!. i bought this upgrade over a week ago, just installed yesterday. I will try again at iLok.

And BTW they are DINR LE and Smack! LE, and I got the correct versions for 7.0 and Tiger etc.

The Plus promotion ended on the 20th. That's over 2 weeks ago. Did you place your order before then?

Yeah, that much time has gone by, phew...I got my order in on the 18th. So I should be good to go, perhaps Digi forgot to enter me at iLock, I just checked, nothing new there for me.

Yeah, I guess talk to customer service (sales dept., not tech support... you'll be on hold forever if you call support). My online PT7 order definitely made me fill in my iLok user ID though, so if you don't remember doing that part and there's no licenses in your account, it definitely sounds like something is amiss. Cust. Service should be able to look into your transaction and see what happened.
