ADA8000 to Digi001 - digital noise problem
Sorry if this is a repeat...
I jsut got an ADA8000 and am trying to get it working with my 001. It's all hooked up and all of the inputs work so that I am expanded to 16 live tracks, but there is a problem. I have a digital clicking type of noise coming from the tracks powered by the ADA8K. I had the same problem with an old ADAT, but I thought it was the ADAT. The noise is seemingly random between the tracks. Anyone else have these issues or know how to fix? Many thanks.

the internal clock in PT must be set to Adat under the Setup/ Hardware tab

also make sure that the sample rates match between the sessions...
