Default How do I renew my support plans?

I have 2 separate support plans about to expire, 1 is for my protools HD, another for my S6, both purchased through my dealer in Australia. I haven't received any renewal notice or notification that they are about to expire, and I cannot for the life of me find a way to renew them through my Avid account on the Avid website.

So how am I supposed to renew my support plans? Would I be punished by having to pay more if the dates slipped by, when I have received no notification?

I want to renew them before they expire, but I can't do it unless Avid actually gives me a way to do it!

Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Default Re: How do I renew my support plans?

Just to be clear, I can see the Protools HD support plan available in the Avid web store, but it is for the full price of US$599. I have already bought my first year of support, so isn't the next year supposed to be US$399 as Avid has publicly advertised? There is no "Renew" option available in the web store.

Perhaps the problem is because I purchased my current support plan in a box (with a registration card) from a dealer in Australia through Avid Australia? But surely there must be a way for me to renew?

On another note, I ordered the support plan in November 2013, but Avid Australia were unable to deliver it to my local dealer in Sydney (Sound Devices) until January 2014, so I missed out on the extra 3 months free. I was told at the time that Avid would honour the extra 3 months as it was late because they didn't have stock of the support plan cards, but I have not been able to get the extra 3 months support plan as yet.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone?

I have contacted tech support and they seem to be unable to help me. They basically said pretty much "Sorry we can't help you, we hope this resolves your problem".

Well no, it doesn't!

Am I the only person who needs to renew their support plans in January?

Am I the only person who has a mysterious S6 support contract that doesn't appear anywhere in my Avid account and is unable to be renewed?

Come on Avid! I want to give you my money to keep current, but you won't let me!
