Updated to 8.04 - no audiosuite plug-ins

Hello!

Firstly, sorry if this topic has been covered, i've had a search around for a while and was surprised not to fond anything. Good chance i've missed something tho...

Anyway, i recently got a new macbook pro 17" 2.66 i7 (sweet as chips). I installed my old version of Pro Tools 8. Next I ran the 8.03 update, then the Mac OS X Combo Update it recommends for 8.04, the ran the 8.04 update.

So Pro Tools opens fines, version 8.04.

However, there is nothing at all in the audiosuite drop down menu. Abslutely nothing. And the same when i access it via an insert on a track. No click, no nothing.

It appears i've maybe lost the standard plug-ins during updating?

That's all i'm after here, the standard, out-of-the-box plug-ins you get with Pro Tools.

Is there a place I can just download these?

I thought i'd found it on this page: http://avid.custkb.com/avid/app/self...p?DocId=364091

but doesn't seem to have what i'm after.

Can anyone help?

Are all your RTAS plugins available?

No, there's nothing anywhere. Under the Audiosuite menu it just says 'none'

I haven't installed any of my third party plug-ins yet (GMR Tools etc) i wanted to know where the default ones had went first!

I reinstalled everything from scratch and now they're there.

Dunno what happened, but problem solved!
