Default Pro Tools 11 corrupt file

I just downladed pro tools 11 from my avid account and I got a "no mountable file system" error. Please help! I am dying to get PT11 rolling

First, verify that you have the complete download from your Avid account.
  1. It should show up after you download as around 909MB, at least it does on my mac after downloading it again just now.
  2. It should be named "Pro_Tools_11_0_0_Mac_79652.dmg"

If all that is correct, try opening/mounting the DMG using Disk Utility, located here on your hard drive: /Applications/Utilities

Then you don't have the complete download. Which is why it won't mount.

You should delete that file from your system, restart, clear your browser cache and download again.

I did what you said and it still downloads the smaller file (Pro_Tools_PT11_Mac_79511) which is 756.76 MB. That is the only file that shows on my "Your Products" page. Is there somewhere else I can download the installer?

We are investigating this right now.

Is your Avid account under the same email address as your forum registration?

What is the Product Name listed where you are getting the downloads from in your account?

Is it a paid upgrade, crossgrade, or free update?

Trying to determine if any specific group did not get their installers updated correctly in their Avid accounts.

From Tech Support:
"I just swapped the new installer in, so have him try again - ask him to hover over the "click here" link to see if it has 79511 or 79652 in the URL."
