Default Update to pro tools 11.3.1

I have downloaded the (Windows x64)update from 11.2.1 to 11.3.1 and I get an error
"ERROR 1308 SOURCE FILE NOT FOUND" relating to PT\Help\Pro Tools reference\wwhdata\js\search\pairs\pair**.js files.
Apparently I need to verify that the files exists and that I can access them.

In the installation process I have also lost My Pro Tools version of 11.2.1

I believe that version 11.3.1 is a clean install and does not need previous versions to update.

Can someone guide me to the solution

Windows has a limit on the allowed path size for any file or folder in NTFS and those files in the installer are already very close to that limit. So, if you try to unzip the installer over some path that, when summed to the extracted paths is superior to the limit, then you get that error.

Try to unzip the installer directly on the root of your C:\ drive (or any other drive), just not inside any other path/folder. After unziping it, try to run the setup.

Or download the installer again and retry.

Hi Francisco

All good. I just let the computer do the extraction.
