Putting Channel into Trim
Hey all,
I'm trying to program a Soft Key to put a selected track into Trim automation mode. I've tried the "Trim" command and I've also tried "Trim" followed by "Do to Selected". No matter what order I try I've had no success. Anyone have any insight? |

Re: Putting Channel into Trim
The way I figured out how to do it is, unfortunately, opening the automation lane, shift + auto (on the artist series) select which autom mode, then go to PT and select trim in the autom lane. The automation icon turns yellow in PT and now your fader on the artist series control trim automation.
I haven't found a soft key to do it. Maybe there's a macro set u can create that does a few steps in one button command. (similar to what Slate software does) Last edited by sloanlogic; 10-01-2016 at 08:28 PM. |
